An Order for possession of the property may be issued pursuant to G.S. 45-21.29 in favor of the purchaser and against the party or parties in possession by the clerk of superior court of the county in which the property is sold.  Any person who occupies the property pursuant to a rental agreement entered into or renewed on or after October 1, 2007, may, after receiving the notice of sale, terminate the rental agreement by providing written notice of termination to the landlord, to be effective on a date stated in the notice that is at least 10 days, but no more than 90 days, after the sale date contained in the notice of sale, provided that the mortgagor has not cured the default at the time the tenant provides the notice of termination [NCGS § 45-21.16A(b)(2)]. Upon termination of a rental agreement, the tenant is liable for rent due under the rental agreement prorated to the effective date of the termination.
If the trustee is unable to convey title to this property for any reason, the sole remedy of the purchaser is the return of the deposit.  Reasons of such inability to convey include, but are not limited to, the filing of a bankruptcy petition prior to the confirmation of the sale and reinstatement of the loan without the knowledge of the trustee.  If the validity of the sale is challenged by any party, the trustee, in their sole discretion, if they believe the challenge to have merit, may request the court to declare the sale to be void and return the deposit.  The purchaser will have no further remedy.

STATEMENT of

CATERING & FOOD
SERVICE

Chatham County is seeking qualified providers to submit statements of qualifications for the provision of catering and food services along with pricing in multiple categories.
Food catering only:  Full meal catering, Snack and light meal catering; Food and alcoholic beverage catering; and Food Service Trucks, not catering inside.
The new Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center (CCACC) is scheduled to open in November, 2016 at 1192 US Hwy 64 W, Pittsboro NC 27312.  This facility is conducive for small to large meetings and events which will then lead to the opportunities for meal service and catering.   The main event hall has a seating capacity of up to 800.  In addition to the event hall, there are four (4) training rooms, of which each will accommodate 60.  The training rooms may be used individually or opened to allow maximum seating of 240.   In an effort to streamline the process and make use of the event center more efficiently, we are seeking caterers with whom to work with on a regular basis and to be identified as our “Approved Caterers and Food Providers”.
Qualifications must be received by Chatham County no later than, October 17, 2016 by 4:00 pm.

Revised “Notice of Discharge of Untreated Sewage”

The City of Graham had a discharge of untreated wastewater on September 10, 2016 of an estimated 115,200 gallons at Boyd Creek Pump Station, located at the dead end of Ingold Dr. The discharge occurred on September 10, 2016 for approximately 3.2 hours. The untreated wastewater entered into Boyd Creek in the Cape Fear River Basin. The pump station was repaired and placed back in service by removing grease to prevent further discharge.
