ADVERTISEMENT for

The Chatham County Board of Commissioners has received and accepted an offer for property located at 1715 Wrenn Smith Road, Siler City, NC. The property is 2.50 acres acquired through foreclosure, and recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Chatham County, NC in Book 01761, beginning at Page 774. The qualifying accepted offer is four thousand dollars, $4000.
The NC General Statute 160A-269 authorizes the County to dispose of property in the method of Upset Bid and Negotiated Offer. The County will consider upset offers of not less than a ten (10)% increase on the first one thousand and five percent (5%) increase for all over one thousand or a minimum upset bid of four thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($4,250), for a period of ten (10) days following this published ad (December 18, 2014). A five (5) % bid deposit must accompany the proposed offer and received before December 29, 2014, 5:00 PM.
If an additional offer is submitted and qualifies, then the ad will be posted for another 10 days until such a time when there is no additional qualifying offers. The County may at anytime during the process reject any and all offers and decide not to sell the property.
