Under and by virtue of a Power of Sale contained in that certain Deed of Trust executed by Jerry W. Gray, Jr. to Linnie W. Causey, Trustee(s), which was dated April 10, 2008 and recorded on April 10, 2008 in Book 01396 at Page 0264, Chatham County Registry, North Carolina.

An Order for possession of the property may be issued pursuant to G.S. 45-21.29 in favor of the purchaser and against the party or parties in possession by the clerk of superior court of the county in which the property is sold.  Any person who occupies the property pursuant to a rental agreement entered into or renewed on or after October 1, 2007, may, after receiving the notice of sale, terminate the rental agreement by providing written notice of termination to the landlord, to be effective on a date stated in the notice that is at least 10 days, but no more than 90 days, after the sale date contained in the notice of sale, provided that the mortgagor has not cured the default at the time the tenant provides the notice of termination [NCGS § 45-21.16A(b)(2)]. Upon termination of a rental agreement, the tenant is liable for rent due under the rental agreement prorated to the effective date of the termination.
If the trustee is unable to convey title to this property for any reason, the sole remedy of the purchaser is the return of the deposit.  Reasons of such inability to convey include, but are not limited to, the filing of a bankruptcy petition prior to the confirmation of the sale and reinstatement of the loan without the knowledge of the trustee.  If the validity of the sale is challenged by any party, the trustee, in their sole discretion, if they believe the challenge to have merit, may request the court to declare the sale to be void and return the deposit.  The purchaser will have no further remedy.

PORTION of NORTH
EVERGREEN AVENUE in the
TOWN of SILER CITY

WHEREAS, Oak-Lawn Subdivision was created by plat in or around 1908 by J. Wade Siler.
WHEREAS, Oak-Lawn Siler Subdivision provided dedication for North Evergreen Avenue, formerly known as (f/k/a) Glenn Street, located within the town limits of Siler City.
WHEREAS Oak-Lawn Siler Subdivision is shown and more particularly described in Plat Book E-N, Page 602 of the Chatham County Registry.
WHEREAS, Magdaleno Perez, and wife, Claudia Perez, are fee simple owners of certain real property located adjacent to the western side of the unopened portion of the North Evergreen Avenue, f/k/a Glenn Street.Magdaleno and Claudia Perez acquired said property via Warranty Deed, in Deed Book 1883, Page 867 of the Chatham County Registry.  Said property is more particularly shown as Lot 1, Block E, located at the corner of Glenn Street and Samuel Street per survey entitled Oak-Lawn Siler Subdivision recorded in Plat Book E-N, Page 602 of the Chatham County Registry.  The property is also shown as Chatham County Tax Parcel ID 15959.
WHEREAS, Magdaleno and Claudia Perez have petitioned and requested the Board of Commissioners to close the unused and unopened portion of North Evergreen Avenue f/k/a Glenn Street.

Gen. Stat. § 160A-299.
2. That a copy of this Resolution shall be mailed by registered or certified mail to all owners of property adjoining the said street as shown on the county tax records.

4. That a notice of closing and public hearing shall be prominently posted in at least two places along said street.
5. REQUEST for QUALIFICATIONS
The Town of Siler City has been awarded a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in the amount of $2,000,000  by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) for the rehabilitation and replacement of approxi-mately 13,000 linear feet of existing 6-inch, 8-inch, and 12-inch diameter gravity sewer lines, including manholes and related appurtenances.

IDEA (Students with Disabilities) – The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA-Part B, Public Law 108.446) Project is presently being amended. The Project describes the special education programs that Chatham County Schools proposes for Federal funding for the 2017-2018 School Year. Interested persons are encouraged to review amendments to the Project and make comments concerning the implementation of special education under this Federal Program. All comments will be considered prior to submission of the amended Project to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction in Raleigh, North Carolina. The IDEA-Part B Project is open to the public for review and comments during the week of March 27-31, 2017 in the office of Milinda Martina Executive Director Exceptional Children and Academically and Intellectually Gifted located at Horton Middle School Central Office South Pittsboro, NC.
These projects describe the programs that Chatham County Schools proposes for federal funding for the 2017-2018 school year.  Interested persons are encouraged to review these federal guidelines for the above listed projects and indicate their interest in participation of the projects if qualified.  These projects are being developed during April and May and are due to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction in June 30 2017.  The initial Equitable Services for Private Schools meeting will be held on April 6, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the Board Room at Chatham County Schools Central Services.  Interested parties are encouraged to contact the office of Carol Little, PreK, Elementary Education and Title I Director, at Chatham County Board of Education, P. Some of the topics that will be discussed during this ongoing consultation process are:
How the children’s needs will be identified;
What services will be provided;
How, where, and by whom the services will be provided;
How the services will be academically assessed and how the results of such assessment will be used to improve services;
The size and scope of the equitable services to be provided to the eligible private school children, the proportion of funds that is allocated for such services, and how that proportion of fund is determined;
The methods or sources of data that are used to determine the number of children from low-income families in participating school attendance areas who attend private schools;
How and when the LEA will make decisions about the delivery of services to such children, including a through consideration and analysis of the view of the private school officials on the provision of services through a contract with potential third-party providers;
How, if the LEA disagrees with the view of the private school officials on the provision of services through a contract, the LEA will provide in writing to such private school officials an analysis of the reasons why the LEA has chosen not to use a contractor;
Whether the LEA shall provide services directly or through a separate government agency, consortium, entity, or third-party contractor;
Whether to provide equitable services to eligible private school children by creating a pool or pools of funds with all of the allocated funds based on all the children from low-income families in a participating school attendance area who attend private schools; or in the LEA’s participating school attendance area who attend private school with the proportion of allocated funds based on the number of children from low-income families who attend private schools;
When, including the approximate time of day, services will be provided; and
Whether the LEA elects to consolidate the use of Title I funds provided in coordination with eligible funds available for services to private school children under applicable programs as defined in Section 8501 (b)(1) to provide services to eligible private school children participating in programs.
