A Municipal election will be held on October 10, 2017 in Chatham County, North Carolina to elect a Mayor,Town Council member District Aandan At Large Council member for the Town of Cary in Chatham County. Only those voters registered in the Cary municipal boundaries in Chatham County are eligible to vote in this election.  The polling place will be open from 6:30 am until 7:30 pm on Election Day. The polling place for Cary voters in Chatham County will be located at:East Williams Precinct – New Hope Church –  581 New Hope Church Rd in Apex.
Those residents who are not registered to vote must register by Friday, September 15, 2017.  You may register to vote at the Board of Elections office located at 984 Thompson Street, Suite D in Pittsboro or you may pick up a mail-in voter registration form at any public library or print a form on line at http://www.chathamnc.org/government/departments-program

Chatham County, on behalf of the Public Works Division, seeks to contract with one or more contractors for stormwater control measure maintenance services for a three (3) year period.   Chatham County owns several Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs) that require occasional maintenance.The contractor can expect to provide the following types of services as listed below:
removing and replacing mulch; pruning and removal of trees and shrubs; outlet structure maintenance and repair; removal and disposal of sediment; riprap and geotextile installation; trash and litter removal and disposal; placement of seed and straw/tackifier; installation of erosion control matting; conveyance repair and replacement (i.e. pipes, swales, etc.) and planting of vegetation (trees and shrubs).
The selected contractor(s) will submit pricing proposals for the various maintenance projects.  Individual task orders, not to exceed $5,000 each, will be added to the service contract as work is awarded to an individual contractor selected for that particular assignment.
Contractors responding to this solicitation must submit three (3) paper copies and one electronic file of the team’s qualifications by October 6, 2017 3:00 PM EST.
